ECO Matters provide insulation and other eco-friendly, bill-reducing measures using government grant schemes. Their work is largely focussed on blocks of flats- especially those that use electric heaters. They have recently joined forces with BT Openreach to aid them in their government-backed quest to roll out future-proof, full fibre, 1Gbps broadband technology across the UK.
The new Ultra-Fast Fibre is 20 times faster than the average speed of 46 Mbps currently being achieved and will make home-working, entertainment streaming and keeping in touch with family and friends a breeze for you and your residents.
What makes FTTP so good?
· It’s always on. There’s no go-slow with FTTP (Fibre to the Premises) full fibre technology – just better performance, impressive speeds, zero buffering and less drop-outs.
· It never lets you down. Fibre optic cables are so powerful and resilient, they’ll never degrade like copper, so you can always rely on being connected to big bandwidth wherever you are.
· Be ready for anything. Be unstoppable online, on everything from phones, tablets, smart appliances, laptops, desktops, VR headsets, smart glass – and even the heating button in your home.
We will do all the legal leg work to get wayleave agreements in place and ensure that there will be no breach of your lease agreement. There will be no cost to you or your residents- we’ll install a full fibre connection to your building for free as part of Openreach’s ‘Fibre First’ programme. Residents will not be obligated to sign up to broadband services- if and when they wish to, they can approach a service provider of their choice to link them up to the super-fast broadband with no obligation to BT.
